Permira Advisers LLP, a European private equity firm, commissioned us to solve a very specific spatial problem. The firm wished to utilise two adjoining executive meeting rooms, both as separate spaces and as one area. In response, we designed and made a reconfigurable and demountable table, which can be used as two separate pieces or connected and extended with extra leaves to seat up to 30 people in the larger meeting area.
