We played a key role in the redevelopment of the Maufe Building, a 1930s accommodation block in the grounds of St John’s College, Cambridge. We worked closely with our client to stagger the fitting-out process over a two-year period, ensuring minimum disruption to the college calendar. Our solution hinged on the creation of furniture ‘modules’, which allow rooms to be cleared and serviced easily. Working within agreed parameters, we delivered furniture, suitable for use by students and conference delegates.
