The Rutland Chantry is situated in the north transept of St George’s Chapel, Windsor. It was founded in 1841 by Thomas St Leger, but incorporates elements of far greater age, including the 16th century tomb of Lord Roos, his wife Anne and his daughter, the Duchess of Exeter.
We were commissioned by the Dean and Chapter to design and make furniture for the chantry as part of the centenary celebrations for the Scout Association. We created seating and stands for use during regular service, which are wholly in keeping with their unique architectural surroundings.
