A contemporary take on classic oak chair design, the Lincoln stacking timber chair was originally designed for the Oakeshott room at Lincoln College, Oxford.
Its open back and generous seat width and depth makes it ideal for teaching, training, meeting and seminar rooms as well as sanctuaries, where it pairs well with our Charterhouse stacking bench.
Like all our chairs, the Lincoln oak chair is engineered for a 30-50+ year lifespan. Its solid European Oak frame, sourced from sustainable forests, gives it a potential lifespan measured in decades. It has also been designed to be refurbished, helping to ensure that it can pass from generation to generation. This all helps to ensure that carbon remains locked up for as long as possible.
An oak chair of the highest quality, with timber sourced from sustainable forests the Lincoln stacking timber chair comes with the finest Scottish leather upholstery as standard.
Alternatively, architects and designers can specify any suitable commercial-grade fabric and have four standard stain colours to choose from for this oak chair. Custom stain, felt glides and commemorative discs can also be specified to create a unique oak chair for the end client.
The leather and fabric we supply on this stacking timber chair is CAL117 rated. Clients wishing to select their own material (COM) must specify a commercial grade fabric suitable for upholstery and local fire codes.
